I know I have several good southern recipes, and one of the things I find fascinating about sharing information and time with friends from across the world is the opportunity to share our favorite dishes. I'll start with something relatively simple, but please, post anything you like!

Guacamole Dip

2 avocados, mashed
1 tomato, peeled, drained, and chopped
1/4 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons salt ( I usually use only 1 teaspoon. It’s too salty with 2)
1 fresh green chili, peeled and chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 teaspoons lemon or lime juice
2 teaspoons chopped onion
1/8 teaspoon Tabasco ™ Sauce

Mix all the ingredients together, cover, chill and serve with chips.
